Taking minutes of meetings

The meeting function of InnoGPT allows you to record and analyze physical meetings on site. With this function you can simply open your laptop in the meeting, start the recording and InnoGPT takes care of the transcript, the summary and the creation of action points. The speaker recognition allows you to assign the voices to the respective persons.

1. Start a new meeting

  • Start audio recording: Click "Start Recording" to begin recording the meeting. You can pause and resume the recording at any time.

  • Upload audio file: If you recorded the meeting on your phone, you can upload the file to have it transcribed. To do this, click the “Upload File” button at the top of the tab menu.

Important note: Make sure the browser tab remains open during the recording. Closing the window will stop the recording, as the recording is temporarily stored in the browser before you upload it.

2. Summary

After uploading the recording, it may take a moment for InnoGPT to process the meeting. Once InnoGPT has started processing, you can close the window, as processing takes place in the background.

InnoGPT then generates a concise summary of the meeting to provide you with a quick overview of the topics discussed. If needed, you can also regenerate this summary using your own prompt.

3. Transcript + Speaker Attribution

  • Transcript: InnoGPT transcribes the entire meeting so you have a written record.

  • Speaker attribution: Assign the voices to the corresponding people to make the transcript clear and understandable.

Note: Laptop microphones are often not very powerful. As a result, one person’s voice may appear more frequently. In this case, you can select the same person multiple times. This ensures the attribution matches in the transcript and the action items.

4. Action Items

InnoGPT Identifies key action points from the meeting and lists them as tasks that you can track and work on.

5. PDF Download of the Minutes

You can download the complete minutes, including the summary and action points, as a PDF to share or archive.
