Learn how to enter messages, attach files and use various tools for specific tasks in the InnoGPT chat.

Chat with InnoGPT

  1. Enter your message: Type your question or request directly into the "Send a message to InnoGPT" text box.

  2. Select tools (optional): Click the dropdown menu next to the "Chat" icon to select specific tools and customize your request accordingly. Available tools include:

  3. Attach files (optional): Use the paperclip icon to upload documents or images and include them in your conversation. (For detailed information, see File upload.

  4. Use voice input (optional): Click the microphone icon to enter your request using voice. (For detailed information, see Voice input.

  5. Send message: Confirm your input by clicking the arrow icon to send the message to InnoGPT.

For optimal results and precise answers, we recommend formulating your requests according to our Prompting guide.

Interacting with Generated Responses

After InnoGPT has generated a response, various functions are available to help you manage, rate, or edit it.

  1. Copy: Click the icon to copy the entire text of the response to your clipboard.

  2. Like/Dislike: Provide feedback on the quality of the response by clicking "Thumbs Up" or "Thumbs Down." This feature is not currently in use but has already been integrated as a preparatory measure.

  3. Read Answer Aloud: Use the speaker icon to have the AI read the generated answer aloud.

  4. Download answer (as PDF): Download the answer as a PDF document to save or share it offline.

  5. Model information: Click the "i" icon to see which specific model was used to generate the current answer.

  6. Sources: If the answer used external information, click "Sources" to view a list of the references used. The sources are also displayed in the text by default. This may vary depending on the Language model.

  7. Regenerate Answer: Click the arrow icon to have the current answer regenerated using the same or a different selected model. This is useful if you want alternative phrasing or content.
